The record comes almost one year to the day since Allen quietly dropped his debut self-titled EP which earned him major recognition and his first official single ‘Best Shot’ has now garnered more than 38 million streams and he is well and truly on his way to becoming a worldwide superstar.
Listening to ‘Mercury Lane’ it is incredibly hard to believe that this is Jimmie Allen’s debut album. It is such an accomplished, polished record it feels like he has been doing this for years.
