SYDNEY, Australia (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) –For the second time in two years, Busta Rhymes has cancelled his Australian tour, according to the Angry Ape and NME
The rapper was due to appear at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on 1st October, but backed out at the last minute. Busta reportedly said he wanted "more money, business class airfare" for his "entire entourage and five star accommodation."
The promoters, PDA Touring, have claimed that their refusal of "outrageous demands on the eve of departure by Busta Rhymes' management" resulted in the rapper's cancellation.
However, sources close to Busta Rhymes have said that he had never intended to perform in Sydney in the first place, as the tour schedule on his official website said he was due to appear in Oakland on the same night, opening for Mariah Carey.
The is not the first time Busta Rhymes has cancelled an appearance in Australia. In 2004 he pulled out of a performance after members of his entourage were detained at Sydney Airport for several hours due to immigration issues.
